Job overview:

The Sales Executive (AE) will be responsible for driving new business growth by identifying and securing new customers in the EdTech sector. This role requires a relationship building/hunter mindset, with a focus on both outbound prospecting and inbound lead management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating the sales process from initial outreach to closing deals, building relationships with key decision-makers, and collaborating with our product and marketing teams to align customer needs with our offerings.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & lead generation: Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies to generate new leads within the EdTech market, particularly targeting decision-makers such as Deans, Directors, and other senior education administrators.
  • Sales pipeline management: Own and manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting product demos, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Customer relationship building: Cultivate long-term relationships with prospects and customers, ensuring a seamless sales experience from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Product expertise: Become a subject matter expert on Enflux’s platform, effectively demonstrating the value of our product to potential customers and aligning it with their unique needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure customers are fully supported and that feedback is shared to help enhance our offerings.
  • Sales reporting: Maintain accurate records in our CRM, track performance metrics, and report on pipeline activity and progress towards sales targets.
  • Quota achievement: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas through effective sales strategies and execution.
  • Industry networking & conferences: Represent Enflux at key industry conferences and events to network, generate new leads, and stay informed about trends in the EdTech space. Regular travel is required for industry conferences and networking opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven consultative sales experience, with at least 2-4 years in a SaaS or EdTech-related role.
  • Experience selling to senior-level decision-makers in the education sector (Deans, Directors, etc.) is highly preferred.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships and present effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple deals and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and sales automation platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify customer needs and create tailored solutions.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to Travel: Travel required for industry conferences and networking events.
