Preparing for ARC-PA doesn’t have to mean stress-filled sprints and last-minute document scrambles. In this webinar, Paul B. Allen, Sr., DSc, MPAS, PA-C, Program Director at UT Health San Antonio, shares how his team is shifting from episodic crisis-mode accreditation prep to a systematic, continuous self-assessment model that promotes year-round readiness and operational excellence.
With a 2027 ARC-PA site visit on the horizon, Dr. Allen is leading efforts to streamline reporting, optimize faculty workload, and embed compliance into everyday processes—all while enhancing faculty satisfaction and program efficiency.

Chair of the Department of PA Studies and Program Director at UT Health
With 15 years of leadership in accreditation, CQI, and faculty development, he specializes in integrating self-assessment into PA education. He has led initiatives to enhance curriculum assessment, accreditation readiness, and competency-based education. His expertise in structured self-study processes helps programs exceed evolving standards. His research focuses on emergency medicine, self-assessment, and faculty development.
Alejandra Zertuche

Alejandra possesses a diverse educational background, holding a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution, an MBA from St. Mary’s University, and a Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics from UT Health at Houston. Prior to Enflux, Alejandra worked in Academic Assessment at the University of the Incarnate Word, where she became a recognized leader in accreditation & assessments.
