Alexis Carbone is the Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at CORE Higher Education Group, an education technology company based in West Warwick, Rhode Island. Alexis has been with CORE Higher Education Group since 2008. Alexis’s passion is to assist clients by creating and implementing industry best practices to improve the management of their Experiential Education and Assessment initiatives. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cities, trying new restaurants and spending time with her husband and family.
Coordinator of Experiential Programs | Cedarville University
Heather serves as the Coordinator of Experiential Programs, assisting students, faculty, and preceptors with experiential and site requirement compliance. In addition to her responsibilities within the School of Pharmacy, she has enjoyed homeschooling her children for the past 14 years, graduating the last one in May 2020.
Vice Chair of Experiential Programs and Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice | Cedarville University
As Vice Chair of Experiential Programs, Dr. Thad Franz oversees both the introductory and advance pharmacy student experiences throughout the professional program. He is also involved in training and developing relationships with pharmacists to successfully precept Cedarville students. Dr. Franz also currently serves as a clinical pharmacist at the Rocking Horse Center, a primary care clinic in Springfield, Ohio. There he cares for and manages medication therapies of patients with complex chronic diseases. Prior to his academic appointment at Cedarville in 2012, Dr. Franz served as a pharmacist with the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where he developed clinical programs in the community care setting focused on patient adherence, education, and disease state management. He also served as a preceptor himself for pharmacy students and residents.
